How much time does it take to take this course?
How long this takes depends upon several factors. Everyone comprehends material at different rates of speed. Some people learn quickly and others do not. Our first group of adult students who worked jobs and took the class in 12 very intensive weeks said it took them 8-10 hours a week for each course module. We have students who are in groups and do a module every two weeks and spread this out. We have solo students who work through the material at their own pace and take longer. So it is really up to you how long it takes.
If you are a fast learner and are very dedicated, it will take 12 weeks.
FAQ
What materials are required to take this course?
Basically you are going to need a computer or laptop and access to the internet. Many of the teaching videos whether pre-recorded or live classes are going to present material on the screen that a cell phone is just too small to see. You will need a working webcam and mic so you can participate in class meetings. If you can sync your phone to a TV screen and print PDF files from your phone to a printer, that would work too.
You will need pen, paper and 3-Ring binder. This class has homework that you must print out onto paper and complete. Students either scan the homework into computer files or take digital photos of their work with cell phones. Image files of all your work is uploaded to the Instructor for review.
